MS-10-WAFFEN S.S. DOUBLE DECAL M35 SERVICE HELMET:

The particulars of this recreation include an embellished  “Q” marked shell size 64 of German manufacture and most likely for foreign export. It was refinished with pea green paint both inside and outside. Both surfaces being given the effect of light age with very minimal surface rusting and Iar. Small chips and scratches Ire also added to complete the effect. The interior holds a reproduction liner having an aluminum band specially aged to match the helmet. The impression is completed by an ink stamped 1939 dome marking to the interior.

An amazing representation of the pre war, service style helmet as worn by Waffen SS personnel. This museum grade replica is based on an original m35 shell having a repainted pea green finish. The high gloss surface and minimal ageing present the impression of a helmet reserved for parade or ceremonial use. Its decals consist of a wonderful first pattern metallic SS runes and a standard party shield. Both of these being perfectly aged and worn to the condition of the helmet. Considered by many collectors as the “Holy Grail” of helmets, examples such as this are extremely rare and in high demand. An excellent choice for the advanced  Collector or SS Historian.
