9/25/2009:

I would like to apologize in the stall of updates on this site.  This year I will be setting up at the MAX show and since we are about a week away, I have been sidetracked preparing for the show.  I will be completing a few small updates from now until next Tuesday. 

I look forward to seeing you all at the MAX!

August 30, 2009:

germanww2helmets.com and helmetchick.com will both be updated today.  Check the new items sections on both sites for great items!

August 18/2009:

Show schedule will be updated today and new items will be continued to be added today as well.  I am also updating sections reflecting what has been sold and doing some other minor changes to the site.

June 12th 2009:

It has been awhile since I have updated this site, but at last, it is finally set to update again within the next few days (sorry I cannot give a definite day as to when I will update).

I finally will be uploading a brand new section that I have been working on for the past few weeks!!!

Also, starting 4/30/2009, I again will be updating the "document section".

4/8/2009:

For ease of inquiries, I am slowly working through the site tagging items with inventory numbers, especially since I have double of some items.

Also, www.helmetchick.com site will be updated today as well.

New items will be added on this site containing photographs/paper, etc.

4/6/2008:

Site updates will begin this week as of today, 4/6/2008.  The update this week is to include items in the following categories:

Insignia

Paperwork

Miscellaneous

Each update will be left up in the New Items section for 15 days until.

So first up:

The new facelift to germanww2helmets.com!  I have combined the German WWI category into the WWII category for ease of updating and maintaining the site.  New updates will be posted into here on the main page as well.  Each time a section is updated I will reflect that on the page.

And now:

For the show stopping latest (which I am sure is bound to cause a ruckus):

I address this not only to critics, but to everyone else as well.

I am pleased to announce an addition to germanww2helmets.com. 

Through the past year or so (Yes I already know some of you will say that is not enough time bla blah.)  I have accrued a variety of items from flat out reproductions to items that people just cannot make up their mind about (ie some say YAY and others say NAY).

I have had the pleasurable experience of others telling me what I should or shouldn’t do.  I am evil for refinishing.  I shouldn’t combine anything on this site.  I should do away with The Helmet Chick.  I should never repaint another helmet again.  I should only paint behind the scenes.  You name it, I’ve heard it.

So here is what I finally have to say (but not entirely what I would like to say for the sake of keeping the site clean):

Restoration is how I got my start in the hobby. 

I am and always will be “The Helmet Chick”.
